Birthdays are some of the happiest work we do, and they come in every size: a Sweet 16 with a dozen friends, a quinceañera court, a 50th with a dinner reservation on the Plaza. Our records for birthday charters run from seven to eighteen passengers most of the time, with the Chrysler 300 stretch limousine the single most-booked vehicle and the Mercedes Sprinter limos close behind. Kansas City and Overland Park account for most of the pickups, with Olathe, Lenexa, Prairie Village and Shawnee next.
Sweet 16 and teen birthdays
Teen birthdays are booked by a parent, and we run them that way. Pickup is usually from the family home, the itinerary is confirmed with the parents in advance, and a parent or chaperone is welcome to ride along. A Chrysler 300 stretch takes ten to twelve; a Sprinter limo takes up to thirteen; for a bigger group the Party Bus keeps everyone in one vehicle. Dinner, a show at the T-Mobile Center or Starlight, and a loop through the Plaza is the most common shape of the evening.
Quinceañera limousines
A quinceañera needs a vehicle for the honoree and her court, timed around the Mass and the reception with photographs in between. The Sprinter limos and the Chrysler 300 stretches are the usual choice for the court; families with a larger party add a limo coach for guests. Milestone birthdays for adults
For 30th, 40th and 50th birthdays the evening usually centres on a restaurant — the Plaza, Crown Center and Union Station appear again and again in our birthday records — with a last stop downtown afterwards. December birthdays often double as a Plaza lights tour, which is why the Plaza lights and Ward Parkway show up in our bookings every winter. Couples celebrating quietly book the Cadillac XTS or the Escalade for door-to-door dinner service.

How a birthday charter works
Birthday bookings are hourly, as-directed charters with a chauffeur who stays with the group for the whole outing. Most run about five hours. You choose the stops and the order; we handle the route, the parking and the timing. A 50% prepayment reserves the vehicle and date, and if the evening runs long, overtime is billed in prorated half-hour increments rather than a full extra hour.
